Had a fantastic no rush family meal here on a swift visit from UK. Excellent escargot!

Every time I came to Boulogne I go to this place to eat "moules frites". This best of the city center!

Very nice restaurant with very nice staff. Food was on point. Fresh and reasonably priced

Well I'm a little surprised to see so many bad reviews for this place. We had a very enjoyable lunch. My wife had the salad, moules and frites, and creme brulee. The mussels in particular were very good. I had the cassoulette, a very enjoyable entrecote and a plate of cheese. Yeah the fries were frozen but we did order from the set menu's. In most places you're probably not going to get thrice fried chips on a plat du jour. The house wine was absolutely fine to accompany a meal. Service was steady, but we were there on holiday so didn't have anywhere to dash off to. We really did quite enjoy our leisurely lunch. Would not have a problem at all returning here.

We didn’t have a reservation and were able to get a table for 2 without any problems. It took around 5 minutes after we’ve been seated to receive the menu. Another 5 minutes until our drinks were served. Alcoholic drinks are cheap but the glasses are also small. For the “Entre” we ordered crepe with mushrooms and cheese and an onion soup. We’ve received a vegetable soup instead, because there was no onion soup left. The Entre were good and tasty. The main dish was a pizza with salami/ chorizo. The pizza tasted good, but I was confused about the dough. It felt like a supermarket pizza. As mentioned though, overall it was good. We also had mussels, which were also tasty. The included fries were very bland, no salt and no taste. As for dessert we ordered a crème brûlée and a mousse au chocolates, which were delicious as well. Price wise it’s a good place to eat. Would stay away from the fries though.
